An assessment service to improve thoracic surgery pre-admission
<p>Several recent government initiatives are designed to facilitate patient and public involvement in the development of new services. This article describes the process by which patients and their carers were recruited to take part in a focus group aimed at developing a new pre-assessment service for pre-operative thoracic patients.</p>
