<p>This article evaluates the impact of a nine-month training programme, developed by a team at Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London, aimed at improving the communication and cultural awareness of 68 healthcare professionals working in the field of cancer, particularly with respect to multicultural issues. Questionnaires at the beginning, end, and three months after the course suggest that this training positively impacted on practice.</p>
