Reducing waiting times in diagnosing patients with endometrial cancer
<p>The NHS Cancer Plan (2000) is a five-year policy framework for improving cancer outcomes and patients’ experiences of cancer care in England. It contains a series of ambitious targets for reducing the length of time patients wait for diagnosis and treatment, and the government expects the NHS to meet these targets in full by the end of this year. This article describes an award-winning nurse-led service developed to improve waiting times for endometrial cancer.</p>
