Ultraviolet light and skin cancer
<p>Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK. This article investigates the effect of ultraviolet light on the skin and the link with the development of skin cancer. A greater understanding of the biological aspects of skin cancer will assist the nurse, and all members of the multidisciplinary team, when planning services and strategies aimed at improving diagnosis and reducing the incidence of skin cancer.</p>
