The value of a hospital palliative care team to other staff
<p>A hospital palliative care team (HPCT) aims to provide specific advice, information and support for people with cancer in partnership with hospital consultants and ward teams. To evaluate whether the HPCT was being used optimally, this article reports the findings of a qualitative study designed to assess staff perceptions of the role of the HPCT in a district general hospital.</p>
