Pain in A&E: the patients’ view
<p>Remember the last shift you worked in the A&E department and visualise, for a moment, the patients who were around you that day: those with a sprained ankle or a cut hand, those returning for a painful wound to be redressed, those with abdominal or chest pain and children with scalds... the list goes on. The vast majority had pain to some degree or other.</p>
