Using group reflection in an action research study

This paper will discuss the outcomes when group reflection was used to identify participants’ learning in an action research study, the purpose of which was to evaluate a nurse-led unit located in a community hospital. A description of the study and its context will be given to provide background to the group reflection. However, rather than exploring the research methods and findings from the action research study itself, the discussion here will focus on the application of and outcomes from group reflection.
