Rehabilitation in nursing homes
Rehabilitation is a key concept in the government’s plans to modernise the NHS. Its aim is to restore a person’s autonomy, although there are sometimes barriers to making effective rehabilitation a reality, some of which are explored here, along with ways of helping teams in nursing homes to undertake more effective rehabilitation.
