Clinical nurse educator: skills, experience and the pay for the role
Clinical nurse educators help develop the nursing workforce by sharing expertise, often blending clinical practice and academic roles. CNEs are specialist, enhanced or advanced practitioners who work in a variety of practice settings and specialties and with all health and social care staff, including support workers, carers, preregistration nursing students, apprentices and registered nurses.
