The diet of people with Crohn's disease
<p>I work on a gastrointestinal surgical ward, so the majority of people with Crohn's disease that I encounter are preparing for some form of surgical intervention. However, some patients are admitted for control of their symptoms. Generally, nutritional needs are left to the dietician and the medical staff, and pharmacists may advise on appropriate intervention of medication.</p>
