Implementation of a peer-support system in the clinical setting

<p>This article discusses the implementation of a peer support initiative by staff at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and De Montfort University School of Nursing and Midwifery. A ‘buddying’ system linked these institutions to improve levels of professional, personal and pastoral support during clinical placements for nursing students.</p>
