Introducing change to the post-anaesthetic care unit
<p>Parental presence in the post-operative care unit (PACU) is an under-reported and under-researched area of paediatric care. This article explores the importance and value of parents being present with their child post-operatively. It reports on the audit findings following a practice development project which encouraged parents to be with their child in the PACU.</p>
