<p> THIS IS a national project, commissioned by the NHS Executive, to determine what data should be recorded to support the planning and delivery of health and social care within maternity and childairth, for both mothers and infants, across health and social care organisations. It will underpin the objectives of the Government's White Paper Saving Lives: Our Healthier Nation and is part of the new Information Strategy for the NHS's Information for Health.</p>
