A National Email System for the NHS - implications for nurses
<p>In January 1998 a circular (1) was sent to chief executives of NHS trusts and health authorities, setting out plans for a national email system within the NHS to “ensure that all Executive Directors of NHS organisations (and their IT Directors) are in a position to send and receive electronic mail”.</p>
