Clinical

Triple integration nursing

COLLABORATION WITHIN and between disciplines has long been linked with quality and clinically effective health services. One reason given for the reform of the NHSA in the early 1990s (DoH 1990) was that service provision was fragmented and lacked cohesion. More recent reform (DoH 1997, So DoH 1997) continues to strive for improvement in service delivery. Collaborative working is again central to this reform, with the development of new arrangements to foster co-operation and new roles to meet client's needs
