The use of topical opioids to relieve pressure ulcer pain
<p>This article provides an overview of the use of topical opioids to relieve pain associated with pressure ulcers in patients receiving palliative care. Morphine and diamorphine-infused gel have been used effectively to relieve pain and promote comfort in this group of patients.</p>
