The Internet is a way of connecting to millions of computers and information systems. It has been called a virtual community, in which nurses can discuss their work and meet other nurses. It has many uses for nurses, especially the e-mail, acting as a conduit for research, searching for new information on health, sharing ideas and for networking with others.</p>
