<p> Aims and intended learning outcomes This article aims to introduce a number of concepts from management literature in order to demonstrate how these relate to some of the skills involved in patient care, and to illustrate their relevance to nurses in their work with others - be they managers, peers, or those for whom they are managerially responsible.
