Recommended 5.5% pay rise approved for nurses in Wales

The Welsh Government’s acceptance of the Pay Review Body recommendation for the 2024-25 pay rise for NHS nursing staff receives tepid response from the RCN. The offer is in line with figures for NHS staff in England and Scotland. The RCN is considering next steps ahead of consulting members on whether to accept or reject the award.
