Band 7 ward manager Samantha Jamieson was struck off the Nursing and Midwifery Council register after a fitness to practise panel found she had created a hostile working environment and had demonstrated incompetence. The FtP panel upheld a catalogue of allegations including that she made medication errors, used offensive language, and ridiculed a senior sister by bringing witch-themed cakes to work to make a point about her being a ‘witch hunt co-ordinator’. The nurse admitted some charges, but was cleared of eight.
