The name game
Someone kicked off a debate in our department: was it best to call hospital wards after, say, some former hospital luminary, or merely a number? Opinion was divided. Most hospitals I have worked in have gone for the name option and I must say it does the job for me. Numbers are easily confused in my head but names stick more easily.
