Urgent care centre brings profound changes in nurses’ roles
Nottingham's urgent care centre (UCC) opened its doors for the first time last October, replacing a nurse-led walk-in centre at Seaton House in the city centre. The UCC provides enhanced services, including electrocardiography and X-ray facilities, to assess and treat urgent but non-life-threatening conditions.
