Learning disabilities and dementia: a nursing student’s A to Z guide
<p>People with learning disabilities are at added risk of developing dementia. Healthcare professionals’ lack of awareness of this condition among service users with intellectual impairment affects the care provided and, as a result, the health and wellbeing of clients. This A-Z guide has been devised to alert nursing students to some of these issues.</p>
