<p>Lauren was 24 when the sexual abuse began. She has mild to moderate learning disabilities but lives independently, with support. The carer who abused her gradually turned her against her other carers and began calling himself her boyfriend. Lauren became pregnant and subsequently had a child. The carer was eventually prosecuted.</p>
