publishing in cyberspace: health workers’ use of information
<p>The popular author Terry Pratchett (2001) has an expressive way of writing. For example, he said: ‘A lie can run round the world before the truth has got its boots on’. The development of information technology and the internet means information can be transferred in the wink of an eye. It is imperative that information should be reliable and appropriate. Should wrong or untrustworthy information be published, it can have detrimental effects on service delivery as people will be mis-informed.</p>
