<p>Person centred planning is currently one of the most frequently heard phrases. Services are striving to be person centred and many people are talking about a person centred approach to service design. The guidance on person centred planning for implementation groups supporting the Valuing People White Paper stressed the importance of enabling people with learning disabilities to lead their own plans. In reality, this is proving difficult for all concerned and for many professionals in particular.</p>
