Social inclusion policies and practices across Europe
<p>Erasmus, the European Commission’s educational exchange programme for higher education students, teachers and institutions, funds education programmes for students across the European Union to learn about how their chosen subjects are perceived and practised in different European countries. Last year, learning disability nursing students from the University of Hertfordshire and Edinburgh Napier University travelled to Oradea University, Romania, to take part in a two-week education programme on social inclusion for people with disabilities. This article discusses the Erasmus scheme and presents results from a student evaluation of the programme.</p>
