A tool to determine support needs for community life
<p>The Supports Intensity Scale, its background and a project designed to evaluate its use in planning support for people with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviour are explained. The authors conclude that the scale can help nurses develop a support plan that will meet each client’s specific needs and preferences in a positive, fulfilling way.</p>
