Evaluation of borderline personality disorder awareness workshops for service users and carers
The provision of borderline personality disorder (BPD) awareness workshops was a direct result of consultations with service users and carers in Somerset, which identified the need for local education and training. An interactive and interpersonal model of delivery was used that aimed to increase knowledge and understanding of BPD. The evaluation included a specifically developed self-report measure called e-KALM. Following positive evaluation from service users and carers, further workshops have been completed.
